Place your legs in a scissor position as shown in the photograph.
Keeping proper postural alignment, lower
body straight down. Keep the front lower leg perpendicular to the floor. Do not
let your knee go forward (see photograph).
At the bottom of the movement, your back
knee should be within a few inches of the floor.
Note: You may use dumbbells or a
barbell for added resistance.
Repeat the movement on the same leg for the
required number of sets and repititions.
Repeat the exercise on the other leg.
